Beantown Property Group Showcases Rehabilitation Project in Winchester During National Boot Camp in Flipping Houses

Beantown Property Group, Greater Boston’s premier real estate solutions company, is partnering with FortuneBuilders, the country’s leading real estate investment education company, to host an intensive, four-day housing rehabilitation boot camp on November 15-18.  The boot camp, which will take place at Long Wharf Marriot in Boston, will educate hopeful “house flippers” on how to identify properties, source and work with the best contractors, finance projects, protect assets and decrease liability, and market a newly rehabilitated property.  Three hundred people from across the country are attending the sold-out boot camp, which will tour three properties currently being rehabilitated in Roxbury, Dorchester and Winchester.

“We are thrilled to host this exciting boot camp,” said Marina Hauser, Co-Founder of Beantown Property Group.  “Rehabilitating houses has not only been a great business for us, it also helps local buyers and sellers while simultaneously rejuvenating communities.”

Hauser, who combined her business South Shore Home Solutions, LLC with Aaron Breen’s and Delince Louis’ MA Realty Investments, LLC in 2012 to form Beantown Property Group, is also a FortuneBuilders coach for real estate hopefuls nationwide.  During the past 10 years, she worked with the team from A&E’s hit TV show “Flip This House,” which flipped or wholesaled more than 600 residential properties and has closed more than 100 short sale transactions.

This weekend, Beantown Property Group will showcase homes during various stages of rehabilitation in communities of various price points, including those 67 Thetford Avenue in Dorchester, 34 Whiting Street in Roxbury and 217 Forest Street in Winchester, to give potential “flippers” the opportunity to see first-hand what goes into a project.

“This is a great opportunity to highlight Boston’s real estate recovery following the housing burst a few years ago,” said Breen.  “Boston is experiencing one of the best residential recoveries in the nation and we are excited to be a part of that by renovating run down houses and completely transforming them into a new home for buyers.”
