Mr. Abagnale is one of the world's authorities on forgery, embezzlement and secure documents. From age 16 to 21, he posed as a Pan Am airline pilot, an attorney, a college professor and a pediatrician, in addition to cashing $2.5 million in fraudulent checks in the U.S. and in 26 countries abroad. For more than 35 years he has worked with, advised and consulted with hundreds of financial institutions, corporations and government agencies around the world.
During a "Q & A" with the audience after the show, Mr. Abagnale emphasized that his wife of 35 years and three children make up the family he always wanted and points to them for turning his life around. When asked what
former role he preferred over the others, he said with a chuckle and huge smile," Pan Am pilot - with all the girls."
