With curtain time just around the corner, reflections of the amazing transformations that have taken place since accepting the role as producer/chairwoman for Winton Club cabaret 2013 continually cross my mind.  From the very beginning, I have relished the task of creating, “Myth, Magic & Mystery”, a show which transports us to a magical time, when the imagination can take us anywhere.  

It is only with the dedicated help of the many professionals and volunteers that the reality of the show can take place.  It has been an amazing journey to create imaginary scenarios, based on a youthful fascination with music, dance and wizardry, to watch the Winchester Town Hall Auditorium transform before my eyes - as the dutiful scenery and stage crew members sawed, hammered and painted, while the singers, dancers and musicians auditioned, learned, rehearsed and took charge of their roles, the costume designers measured, cut and sewed, and the numerous other committee members diligently worked under the radar to bring our annual Winton Cabaret production out into the forefront as the premiere annual social and fundraising event in Winchester, to benefit Winchester Hospital. 

It has been an awesome experience, to say the least.  In addition to the tremendous number of seemingly daunting tasks that have been accomplished, it has been heartwarming to observe new friendships begin and old friendships renewed within the cast and club.

Now it’s time to enjoy the fruits of our labor.  It is my vision that "Myth, Magic & Mystery" will be a success of mythical proportions!  I hope to see you all there!  The show takes place Tues., Jan. 29^th-Sat., Feb. 2^nd at Winchester Town Hall, 71 Mt.
