LOST DOG: Please read comment section for update about Marisol
Hello,
I am one of the volunteers who is trying to help in the search for a dog who got away from her dog walking group while in the Fells, in November 2010. Her name is Marisol, and she is from Medford.
There HAVE been regular sightings of Marisol since she went missing.
The most recent sighting was on Sunday, Jan. 30, 2011!!
What can people do that may help?
-Go to http://www.findmariso......and read the latest updates. If you have Facebook or Twitter, click on those icons there, and receive regular updates. which you in turn can ask other to share....and so on. If you don't have those, sign up for email updates.
-- Consider downloading a poster from Marisol's web site, and hanging it at work, or placing it in your car window when you are parked somewhere for a time (mall, restaurants, movies, the Fells, etc).
EVEN if you don't live or work in the towns where there have been sightings, (Medford, Melrose, Malden, Winchester, Stoneham) perhaps someone you know does.
- Put the contact phone number in your cell phone so that IF you happen to see her, you can let her owners know immediately. This has happened with several of the sightings, so that means word has gotten out on that!
Marisol is copper and cream colored, 20lbs., wearing a collar with license and ID tags.
The search for Marisol remains very active and all means of spreading the word are needed!
Maybe you can do something that may help??
Thank you!

The search for Marisol remains very active!
The most recent sighting was in late February.
The weather is warming, and people will be out and about more now, increasing the chances of someone spotting Marisol as they walk, or drive.
Please visit her website, www.findmarisol.com and consider clicking "like" on FB or click on the Tweeter icon.
This is to help spread the word, and to remind people that there are many people trying to find Marisol, so that after this tough winter she has endured, she can be reunited with her family!
Thank you so much!!
IF you see her, do not shout her name, do not chase her. You may try crouching down on the ground and just being a non-threatening presence, and see if she approaches.
CALL or TEXT 617-383-9228 at ANY TIME.
