Lost Dog: Snappy Sighting in Winchester 10/16 at 8:15am

  • October 16, 2012
Attn Winchester residents, there was a possible sighting of the missing dog, Snappy, this morning (10/16) at 8:15am in the area of Wildwood/Rt 3! A man that is very familiar Weimaraners (the breed) spotted a dog matching Snap's description going from Wildwood onto Salisbury. She can cover a lot of ground, though, so be on the look-out everywhere you go (surrounding towns etc.)It is very important not to chase her - she is skiddish and will generally run. CALL: 617-256-8772 if you see her. There was a recent social media post that Snappy had been found. Unfortunately, that is not correct. Please visit the official FIND SNAPPY facebook page and "like" so that you can follow the updates and share with friends and relatives... let's bring Snappy home! You can easily find the page by typing "Find Snappy" in the facebook search bar.Snappy's mom and Dad have been searching feverishly for her night and day. There have been many calls and so the search is in full force - please help them bring Snappy home before the cold weather sets in. How you can help:1. watch for Snappy everywhere you go2. like the official FIND SNAPPY facebook page and "share" each and every update with your friends 3. Ask your friends to like the FB page and "share, share, share"4. If you see an area that could use signs (train stations, gas stations, busy intersections with long red lights, dog parks, near schools etc) send us a note on FB - especially if you can volunteer to help put them up!5. If you see Snappy: stay calm, don't chase, call the cell phone and try to simply watch her from a distance so you can give a detailed description of location etc.6. Send Snappy's "Mom & Dad" well wishes & support on the FIND SNAPPY FB page!!It is very important not to chase her - she is skiddish and will generally run. CALL: 617-256-8772 if you see her.
