Medication Collection Day

Sponsored by the Winchester Co-operative Bank in partnership with the Winchester Coalition for a Safer Community, Board of Health, Police, DPW and Winchester Hospital there will be a medication take back on May 7, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

• Do not throw your medicine in the trash or in the toilet.
• Bring your medications to the collection site for proper and environmentally safe disposal.
• For privacy, cross out the name and address from all labels with a permanent marker.
• DO NOT cross out the name of the medication!

Accepted Items:
All prescription drugs
Nonprescription medicine
Herbal products
Vitamin and mineral supplements
Needles – limited quantity accepted. Must be in red biobox.
Not Accepted Items
Cosmetics, antiperspirants and skin care products
Contact lens disinfectants
Sunburn protection
Mouthwashes and toothpastes

Can’t attend collection day? Bring medications to the kiosk located in the lobby of the police department.
