Meet the Pavilon Brothers

Meet the Pavilon brothers of Winchester, Avery and Jay.

Avery, 11, and Jay, 9, began their karate training with me at the Reading Y.M.C.A.

They then transferred to our Main dojo in Wakefield. Avery has achieved his purple belt and will very soon be awarded his green belt. Jay has been promoted to orange belt.

This has been a tough journey for little Jay, in order for mom to get both boys here we had to slip Jay in with all older kids. You know it’s true what the old timers say, If they want it, they will step up to the plate.

Of course I was always in Avery’s ear telling him to help drag his brother up the mountain. These are two great kids and Winchester should be proud to have them in there community.

Both boys are almost 10.000 club members; they have to complete 10.000 basic karate movements.

They will now train in two person drills. Staff and higher level forms.

This is the best age for kids to be in a karate dojo. For now they can train with adults and other like minded kids. Decisions made at this age become their future.

Children that begin karate at an early age leave at an early age, thus never reap the befit of being in a real karate program.

Avery and Jay, I am proud to be your Sensei, you are a pleasure to have in class

Special thanks to your parents for bringing you to me.

YOU ROCK!!!!

-Sensei.
