I'm humbled with the support I received in last week’s election. I want to thank all the residents of Stoneham and Winchester who were not deterred by long lines at the polls but came out in record numbers to cast their votes.
I want to congratulate my opponent George Georgountzos for his commitment to public service. It is not easy to put yourself and your family in the public eye and run for elected office. I know he will continue to serve his community.
My success on election day would not have been possible without the incredible dedication and hard work of our campaign team, donors, volunteers and student interns. I’m deeply grateful for your commitment to our campaign and the political process.
I'm ready to get back to work for our communities: pursuing local economic development opportunities; fighting for fair and adequate funding for our schools; championing quality, affordable healthcare for our families, seniors, and small businesses; and continuing to implement reforms that make our government more efficient and responsive to our needs.
I believe we have great opportunities to strengthen our communities and move Massachusetts forward. I’m honored to represent the people of Stoneham and Winchester in the state legislature, and eager to continue our work together.
