WinCAM, Winchester’s community access television center, carries on our annual tradition by celebrating WinCAM Week – a week-long celebration of WinCAM’s accomplishments and services, featuring special events, new program premieres and unique offerings. We’d like to invite our members, old and new, as well as the general public to join us for any or all of these great events…

MONDAY, DECEMBER 5 –

6:00 PM – WinCAM PRODUCERS’ MEETING

7:00 PM – LIVE premiere of “THE PITCH”. WinCAM producers will develop programming ideas LIVE on the air and invite public comment. Your idea could be made into a show airing on WinCAM!

7:30 PM – The State of WinCAM Address. WinCAM Executive Director, David Gauthier will outline the all the accomplishments, additions and initiatives started by WinCAM in 2011. This address will be followed by “WinCAM Year in Review 2011” short video.

TUESDAY, DECEMBER 6 –

2:00 – 6:00 PM – Organizational PSA Timeslots. WinCAM is offering time in our studio for organizations to come in and have a FREE 30-second to 2-minute PSA produced for them. Reserve your time slot now!

6:00 – 7:00 PM – Holiday Greeting Open Access. Community members are invited to stop by our studio to record a greeting that will air during the holidays. Bring the family!

7:00 – 11:00 PM – WinCAM’s Top 11 of 2011 Programming Marathon, pt. 1. Check out just some of the best programming produced by WinCAM members and staff during this year.

WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 7 –

7:00 PM – WinCAM HOLIDAY PARTY AND AWARDS NIGHT. Come on down and enjoy an evening of fun and refreshments as WinCAM honors some of the best producers and volunteers of 2011.

7:00 PM - Premiere of “Winchester.Org”. Join host, Heather Poduska as she interviews representatives from Winchester non-profits. This new show will highlight a different organization each month.

7:30 PM – Premiere of “Shorts Show”. This new monthly show will highlight short videos produced at WinCAM and surrounding access centers. Submissions are welcome.

THURSDAY, DECEMBER 8 –

2:00 – 6:00 PM - Organizational PSA Timeslots.

6:00 – 7:00 PM - Holiday Greeting Open Access.

7:00 PM – The Wonderful Show LIVE – Hosts Joe LaRocca & Anthony Gaimari will have WinCAM members as guests, discussing their experiences at WinCAM.

8:00 PM – Visual Radio Open House LIVE – Ever wonder what goes on behind the scenes of a LIVE television program? Visit the studio during the Visual Radio and find out. Who knows? Maybe you’ll end up on LIVE TV.

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 9 –
