Winton Club receives donation of $4,637.45 from Whole Foods of Woburn

The Winton Club of Winchester recently received a generous donation of  $4,637.45 from Whole Foods Market-Woburn, made possible by their sponsorship of a Winton Club Shopping Day on Sept. 4.

The Winton Club is a non-profit women's organization exclusively supporting Winchester Hospital in service and fundraising activities.

"At Whole Foods Market, caring about our communities and the environment is one of our core values," Daniels said. "As the Community Liaison for Whole Foods Market in Woburn, that's what my job is all about!

Four times a year, Whole Foods hosts 5 percent days, when they donate 5 percent of sales from that day to a local nonprofit like the Winton Club.

"We're so excited to see what they will be enabled to do with the money raised for them,” she said.
