FAMILY BEST BETS OF THE WEEK

Epiphany at the Movies

Where/When: Parish of the Epiphany, Friday 7 p.m.

Why Go: A free screening of The Neverending Story and a chance to meet new friends. 

Pricing: Free, open to all.

Winchester Youth Center Coffee House

Where/When:  Winchester Youth Center, Friday 7:30-10:30 p.m.

Why Go: Fabulous live music, delicious homemade desserts, frappes, and coffee drinks.

Pricing: $5 admission. High school students only. Proceeds will benefit the WYC Peer Leaders' April vacation Habitat for Humanity trip.

A Cappella Fest 2011

Where/When:  Winchester Town Hall, Saturday 7:30-10:30 p.m.

Why Go: Listen to talented A cappella groups from area high schools and colleges; support WHS performing arts

Pricing:  Tickets are $8 students and seniors, $15 adults or $40 per family. For more information call (781) 721-7020.

Odaiko Japanese Taiko Drumming Concert

Where/When:  McCall Middle School, Sunday 4-5:30 p.m.

Why Go: Experience the visceral power of Odaiko New England and learn more about the art of Taiko drumming.

Pricing:  Suggested donation $5 per person or $10 per family.

Family Sunday at the Griffin Museum

Where/When:  Griffin Museum of Photography Inc, Sunday 3-4:15 p.m.

Why Go: Experience the museum’s wide variety of exhibits in a kid-friendly atmosphere.

Pricing:  Free, open to all.
