The Winchester Chamber of Commerce presented a donation to the Department of Public Works for the Peter Van Aken Permanent Street Tree Fund.
Director Jay Gill received the donation for the planted trees for the tree fund Sept. 12 at the first Chamber Board of Director meeting of the season.
Dot Butler, chair of the Winchester Chamber of Commerce Garden Tour, said the proceeds of the tour are used for Winchester beautification projects.
