Register for WCMS Blues Workshop

Here is some information to get you through Thursday, July 5.

 

1. Today is going to be mostly sunny with a high of 87 degrees and a low of 66, according to the National Weather Service. There is a slight chance of rain this evening, but other than that, it will be mostly cloudy for the night.

2. There's one space left for Winchester Community Music School's Summertime Blues-n-Que. This 10-person workshop focuses on strengthening your blues concepts and musician skills. The workshop is Saturday, July 14 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Call 781-721-2950 to register.

3. We are constantly seeking Photo of the Day submissions. You have many options in how you can submit a photo: email it to winchester@patch.com, text it to 770-547-8635 or Tweet it to @WinchesterPatch.

4. We know everyone had a great time grilling, watching fireworks and generally enjoying their day off for the Fourth of July. We want to be included in your fun!Upload your photos to our holiday slideshow to show off your awesome camera skills.

We have a Local Voices section that is reserved for community writers whether it's about the Little League games, your view on politics, what's going on at your business or updates from your church.
