Sheriff Koutoujian Visits Winchester

The sheriff will introduce a new program that benefits senior citizens.

Middlesex Sheriff Peter J. Koutoujian is stopping by the Jenks Center today to visit with Winchester senior citizens.

The sheriff will join Ruth Young of the Winchester Council on Aging and Town Manager Richard Howard at 1 p.m. to discuss the department's new TRIAD Program and the sheriff's role in the community.

The program focuses on empowering senior citizens to recognize fraudulent behavior by hosting educational events and providing tips and resources on how seniors can stay safe and avoid being the object of criminal behavior.
