While she hopes there will be a strong voter turnout Tuesday, Lannon said she does not like to estimate what the turnout will be. In March 2012, voter turnout was 9 percent, which is "low but unfortunately Winchester has held many under endorsed elections over the past (five) years so when people don’t run for office the lack of competition equates to low voter turnout," Lannon said.

"I believe in the electoral process of American Democracy and it is my hope that the voters of Winchester will participate (Tuesday) and will consider running for public office in the future," Lannon added.

There is just one contested race for two School Committee seats, while there was one contested race for the Board of Health. Check out the complete list of candidates here.

The Town Election will cost approximately $25,000, Lannon said, and there will be 64 election day workers working the polls inclduing wardens, clerks and inspectors.

Roughly 15,000 voters can participate in the election, according to the town clerk.

"I always print a number equal to the total registered voters," Lannon said. "There is no price break worth running out of ballots."
