VIDEO: Winchester High Hockey Player Serves Arlington ‘Fettuccine Alfredo’ on Ice
Winchester forward Nolan Redler’s post-game interview with ESPNBoston.com after his team’s 3-0 win over Arlington Saturday has gone viral.
The Winchester High boys’ hockey team beat Arlington 3-0 Saturday at O’Brien Rink in Woburn, but it’s not the big Middlesex League win that has people talking.
It’s Winchester forward Nolan Redler’s post-game interview with ESPNBoston.com’s Scott Barboza.
“I just saw him go to the net, I said, ‘I gotta throw a little fettuccine alfredo out there,’ ended up hitting him in the butt and going in so, you know, it’s all you can do at this point,” Redler told Barboza on camera. “I mean it wasn’t the prettiest goal, but it got there. It all looks the same on the score sheet.”
Winchester, the No. 12 team in ESPNBoston.com’s state rankings, remained undefeated (6-0-2) with the win, while Arlington, the site’s No. 19 team, fell to 5-2-3.
