Winchester Patch received questions about what places would be open and closed during the blizzard. Here is a sampling of businesses and other places that will be open and closed in town during the blizzard:

Open

• All MBTA services will be suspended at 3 p.m. Friday. 
• 247drums 
• Stop & Shop Supermarket will be open at 6 a.m. Friday.
• Kids Footstop will be open at 10 a.m. Friday, but the business has not decided if it will be open or closed on Saturday depending on the severity of the storm.

Closed

• Winchester Public Schools and St. Mary's School will be closed on Friday.
• Mahoney's Garden Center has canceled their Winter Market on Saturday in Winchester and also East Falmouth, according to a company press statement. Mahoney's also postponed their Saturday grand opening of their annual Orchid and Tropical Plant Festivals one day to Sunday, according to the statement.
• Winchester Public Library will be closed Friday and Saturday; however, it plans to be open 2-5 p.m. Sunday.
