Thanksgiving Day has finally arrived, and all town, county, state and federal offices will be closed due to the holiday, as will local banks, the post office, the Winchester Public Library, the Recreation Center and the Jenks Center.
Retail and liquor stores will also be closed. Some supermarkets, convenience stores and restaurants may be open, especially in the morning, but most will be closed as well in the afternoon and evening.
If you’re driving today, check Winchester Patch’s live interactive traffic map before leaving your home. And if you’re taking the MBTA Commuter Line (or the subway or buses), be aware that trains are running on a Sunday schedule.
