Winchester DPW Finds Abandoned Turtle
The turtle is now at Jabberwock Reptiles on Main Street.
A member of the Department of Public Works is asking for the community's help in returning a turtle to its home.
The DPW was cutting brush near the pump house on the North Reservoir near the Winchester Hospital on Friday.
They found a foot long African leopard tortoise and said it appears to be someone's pet.
The turtle is now at the Jabberwock Reptiles Store at 959 Main St.
