After shutting down its operation for several days, the Starbucks in Winchester Center will reopen Wednesday morning, according to a company spokesperson. Starbucks, located at 542 Main St., was closed from April 15 to April 23 while improvements were made to the store. With a special election slated for this spring to fill the Senate seat formerly occupied by Secretary of State John Kerry, local election departments, including the Winchester Town Clerk's office, across the state are scrambling to organize. We contacted the superintendent's office as well as the Winchester High School office on Thursday to find out the answer. After having four days off, the last day of school was pushed back to June 24, according to the superintendent's office. However, with winter not over yet there is a possibility the date could be changed should more school days be canceled. Meanwhile, the Winchester High School graduation is slated for June 2, according to the High School office.
