Alice Fredey (author) and Maura Fredey (illustrator and Winchester native) will be at Book Ends from 3 to 4 pm to read and sign copies of their children's book, And the Mockingbird Sang. This unique picture book teaches children to identify birds and to understand the true meaning of forgiveness. Proceeds from the sale of the book will go to Live, Learn, Act (www.livelearnact.org), a Winchester based group, to help support the learning center schools in rural India.
