We are thrilled to welcome Winchester native Matt Tavares back to Book Ends to sign and talk about his newest book, Helen's Big World. Written by Doreen Rappaport and illustrated by Matt, Helen's Big World is a young person's picture book biography of Helen Keller. The author and illustrator create a vivid portrait of a woman who faced difficult challenges and rose above them, and in turn contributed to the progess of a nation. Matt is the very talented author and illustrator of many other children's books, including Zachary's Ball and Oliver's Game, and has previously collaborated with author Doreen Rappaport on a young person's biography of John F.
