Join us for the first installment of our 2012-13 Faculty Recital Series. "Let's start with Something New!" will feature Jessi Rosinski on flute, with special guest composer Trevor Baca. Jessi is an avid teacher and performer, and loves to bring music to new audiences. Her theme for this concert is to take people on a journey through newly written music. The pieces will be interspersed with explanations and demonstrations to bring the music to life in a tangible and enjoyable way for the audience. The concert will be held at Nichols Performance Hall, Winchester Community Music School, 407 Highland Avenue, Winchester. A "Meet the Artist" reception will follow. Free and open to the public. More About Winchester Community Music School
Established in 1981, and in the same location on Highland Avenue since 1997, the Winchester Community Music School plays a major role in keeping the arts and entertainment field alive in local schools and the community.
In addition to daily music instruction classes, the school helps organize free concerts and public events for young people and adults alike. There are classes for a variety of age ranges and skill levels, with jazz, rock, and classical themes.
