Fall Classes
Interesting and informative classes are in store for you at the eight week fall session which begins Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. Brush up on your Bridge, learn about the history of modern China or enjoy a review of Film Noir. Music lovers will relish the genius of Tchaikovsky or learn to appreciate the unsung talents of women composers. Sketchbooking will refine your drawing skills.

Jenks Center is operated by the Winchester Seniors Association, which is a nonprofit organization working to improve the quality of seniors’ lives in the community. Some programs and activities offered include card games, movie screenings, exercise classes, yoga, arts and crafts and more. Other events and programs include computer classes, special trips, discussion groups and dancing classes. Check its website for a full schedule, details on programs or for information on donations.

The classes are not free, but are offered at a reduced cost through the generosity of the John and Mary Murphy Foundation.
