For high school students trying out for the MMEA Senior District Music Festival. Prepare for the audition process in a supportive environment. Play your audition piece and receive valuable feedback and helpful suggestions from peers and faculty. The workshop will cover presentation issues, expectations from the adjudicators, relaxation suggestions, and tips on audition strategies. More About Winchester Community Music School
Established in 1981, and in the same location on Highland Avenue since 1997, the Winchester Community Music School plays a major role in keeping the arts and entertainment field alive in local schools and the community.
In addition to daily music instruction classes, the school helps organize free concerts and public events for young people and adults alike. There are classes for a variety of age ranges and skill levels, with jazz, rock, and classical themes.
