Join us for Open Mic Night at Starbucks, 542 Main Street, Winchester. Hosted by Winchester Community Music School and singer/songwriter Mike Verge. Open Mic Nights occur the first Thursday of every month and we welcome performers, families and friends for this lively, emceed coffee house event. Individual or small duo/trio performances are encouraged. We welcome all ages, all instruments, and all types of music. Bands are welcome but must be acoustic. Free and open to the public. More About Winchester Community Music School
Established in 1981, and in the same location on Highland Avenue since 1997, the Winchester Community Music School plays a major role in keeping the arts and entertainment field alive in local schools and the community.
In addition to daily music instruction classes, the school helps organize free concerts and public events for young people and adults alike. There are classes for a variety of age ranges and skill levels, with jazz, rock, and classical themes.
