Rescheduled due to the storm! Winchester Community Music School presents a children’s concert that is a unique performance blending music and children’s literature on Wednesday, February 20 at 3:00 pm (during school vacation week). The performance will be held at the NextDoor Center for the Arts, 40 Cross Street, Winchester and features live jazz music with a reading of the Charles M. Schulz story “Be My Valentine, Charlie Brown” with actors from Kidstock. Appropriate for ages 2-8 years old and anyone young at heart. More About Winchester Community Music School
Established in 1981, and in the same location on Highland Avenue since 1997, the Winchester Community Music School plays a major role in keeping the arts and entertainment field alive in local schools and the community.
In addition to daily music instruction classes, the school helps organize free concerts and public events for young people and adults alike. There are classes for a variety of age ranges and skill levels, with jazz, rock, and classical themes.
