Space is still available for 18 mo - 4 year olds in Muisc & Movement and Musical Beginnings classes. Several time slots are available; classes meet once a week for 45 minutes. Sessions are starting now, and new students can continue to enroll for up to 3 weeks after the start of the semester. For children 18 months to 3 years, Music & Movement introduces children to music through fun activities, songs, and rhymes. Each child must be accompanied by an adult partner. For children 4 years old, Musical Beginnings introduces the rudiments of rhythm, simple patterns, melodic line and musical form. More About Winchester Community Music School
Established in 1981, and in the same location on Highland Avenue since 1997, the Winchester Community Music School plays a major role in keeping the arts and entertainment field alive in local schools and the community.
In addition to daily music instruction classes, the school helps organize free concerts and public events for young people and adults alike. There are classes for a variety of age ranges and skill levels, with jazz, rock, and classical themes.
