Winchester Farmers Market, September 22
September 22 is Ability Awareness Day on the Town Common alongside Winchester Farmers Market.
Come join Brio Integrated Theatre, the Jenks Center, and Winchester Disability Access Commission for hands-on learning experiences. Look at life through the eyes of people with different abilities.
9:30–10:30. See scooter and wheelchair demonstrations.
10:30–11:00. Learn a song in American Sign Language.
11:00–11:30. Watch a Kids on the Block® puppet show.
11:30–12:30. Decorate a mask and participate in a performance led by Brio Integrated Theatre.

More About Town Common
The Commons is perfectly situated right in the center of town. It's a short walk from the commuter rail, Main Street and a number of other local shops and businesses in the area. It's an ideal place to take your lunch break as the large oak tree and water fountain have a truly calming effect on this passive park.
There are a number of benches and seating areas for residents to come and relax. There's also plenty of open space for members of the community to set up for a picnic on a warm Saturday afternoon. Just make sure from mid-June to September you leave enough room for the vendors of the weekly farmer's market to set up.
With Church and Main streets right around the corner, there's plenty of street parking - but be mindful, as there is a two-hour time limit.
