Chef Joanne Chang to Speak, Sign Books in Winchester

Here is a sampling of five things to know for Tuesday, July 23 in Winchester:

1. Author appearance: Chef Joanne Chang will be giving a talk and signing her new book "Flour, too" at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Book Ends, according to an event posting on Winchester Patch. 

2. BOH session: The Winchester Board of Health meets at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Town Hall in the Waterfield Room, according to the town website.

3. Housing Authority meeting: The Winchester Housing Authority is set to meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Westley Street Community Room at the Housing Authority, according to the town website.

4. Planners session: The Winchester Planning Board is scheduled to meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Town Hall in the Winchester Room, according to the town website.

5. Fun with puppets: Winchester Public Library will be hosting a free program for children ages four-plus called "Badger Meets the Fairies with Galapagos Puppets," according to the library website. The program runs from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Tuesday in the library's Large Meeting Room.
