Winchester Kids Join Former Top Chef Contestant at Little Wanderers Gingebread Competition

Winchester siblings Irene (near house) and Finn O’Brien (with mom Joanna – far right) joined Former Top Chef Contestant Tiffani Faison (center) of Sweet Cheeks Q in Boston on her team at The Home for Little Wanderers’ 5th Annual Gingerbread House Decorating Competition. The team, including Sweet Cheeks Q Restaurant Manager Allie Horovitz, Blogger Jill Radsken and other kids from the community, created a Sugar Plum Fairy themed house, winning frosting honors. Teammates included Sweet Cheeks Q Restaurant Manager Allie Horovitz, Blogger Jill Radsken and kids from the community who participated to kick off The Home’s Big Wishes Gift Drive.

The Home for Little Wanderers, the nation’s oldest and one of New England’s largest child and family service agencies, teamed up with local chefs and celebrities as well as residents from surrounding communities to kick off their Big Wishes Gift Drive with their 5th Annual Gingerbread House Decorating Competition. The Big Wishes Gift Drive distributes donated gifts to thousands of children who are in The Home’s program. For more information visit www.thehome.org.
