Comcast subscribers may have noticed our promo for WinCAM Education coming soon on channel 22. WinCAM is excited to announce that we are in the early stages of adding a third channel to our lineup.
Our Public channel, Comcast 8/Verizon 36, will remain the destination for coverage of the biggest Winchester events and programming produced by our talented membership - as well as some of the finest import programs available. WinCAM Public will continue to provide entertainment and enlightenment that reflects the diversity of the Winchester community.
We have also featured a combined Education and Government station, Comcast 9/Verizon 37, which has been where our viewers have gone for live Winchester municipal meetings for years.

With the addition of the third channel, we will be transitioning to a more traditional PEG format, with separate stations for our Public, Educational and Government content. Besides the usual influx of Winchester-focused and imported shows, this means that all of your educational programming favorites, such as School Committee meetings, TED Talks, Classic Arts Showcase and many others will be moving to the new channel. WinCAM Educational will be the one stop place for all things Winchester Schools.
Our Government programming, including Winchester Board of Selectmen meetings, In the House with Jason Lewis, The Big Picture with Thom Hartmann, The David Pakman Show, and others will remain on Comcast 9 and Verizon 37, WinCAM Government. As always, this will be the home for complete live coverage and analysis of the Fall and Spring Winchester Town Meetings.

In addition, all of our stations will soon feature individualized Community Bulletin Boards, providing the people of Winchester with a much greater opportunity to spread the word of non-profit organizations or upcoming special events to a more specific audience. We will also now be able to provide updates and contact information for Winchester town officials and schools as well as agendas for upcoming meetings.
WinCAM Education will be located on Comcast channel 22 and a TBD channel on verizon.
