“Those who contemplate the beauty of the earth find reserves of strength that will endure as long as life lasts.” - Rachel Carson

As climate change unfolds around the world (and in our own summer-like backyards), we continue to wake up to the new realities of a planet in great flux. In our hearts and minds, we know we need to live in more sustainable ways, yet often we don’t know how, and we don’t know who to partner with in the effort. This Earth Day, we explore some theological and spiritual gifts that Unitarian Universalism offers us for the greener journey. With our Green Sanctuary Team, we celebrate the congregation’s green efforts thus far, and pledge ourselves to even greater integrity and sustainability moving forward. Our Share-the-Plate offering will benefit Farm Sanctuary.
