Five Things: Glen Doherty's Family Thanks Winchester

Here is some information to get you through Tuesday, Sept. 25.

1. It's going to be sunny and windy today with temperatures in the low 70s and wind speeds up to 26 mph, according to the National Weather Service. Temperatures will drop to the high 50s and clouds will roll in for tomorrow's chance of showers.

2. The Town of Winchester began water main flushing Monday morning. This will last for approximately three weeks during 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Residents may experience discolored water during this time. See if your street will be affected.

3. The Wolf Den is offering fall lacrosse training sessions for boys and girls in grades first through eighth. The sessions will run from Oct. 1 through Nov. 15. The Wolf Den is offering sessions for 4 and 5 year olds. Check here for more information on the sessions and how to register.

4. Glen Doherty's family released the attached photo to thank Winchester for its support. Doherty's funeral was Wednesday, Sept. 19 at St. Eulalia Church. Check here for photos from the procession.
