Five Things: WHS School Council Application Deadline Approaching
Here is some information to get you through Tuesday, Sept. 18.
1. There is a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms this afternoon with highs in the 70s and lows in the 60s, according to the National Weather Service. That chance increases as we move into the evening with gusts of wind as high as 39 mph.
2. Funeral services begin today for Glen Doherty. Visitation is from 3 to 7 p.m. at St. Eulelia's Church, and the funeral is 11 a.m. Wednesday at the same church. Winchester residents are being asked to line the streets during the procession Wednesday to show support for Doherty and his family.
3. Winchester High School, route: {:controller=>"listings", :action=>"show", :id=>"winchester-high-school"} --> is still seeking members for School Council.
