The Winchester Chamber of Commerce has announced that Jay Gill is the organization's 2014 Citizen of the Year,
A lifelong resident of Winchester, Gill serves as the director of the Department of Public Works and is involved in several community efforts.
"His tireless energy and commitment to our town made the choice for this year’s Citizen of the Year an uncontested decision," the Chamber issued in a statement.
