Last Day to Register to Vote

The Winchester Board of Registrars is hosting a Voter Registration Session at the Public Safety Building all day. Registration forms must be postmarked by today as well. 4. The Catholic Cemetery Association started a mobile outreach program and is setting up an informational kiosk in the near the Winchester--Woburn line. The kiosk will be located at the Washington Street entrance this Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon. The event will also depend on the weather, which has a 40 percent chance of rain in the morning.

5. A 99-year lease with the MBTA for a parcel of land that starts in Stoneham and runs through Winchester to Woburn as part of the Tri-Community Bike Path is up for discussion. Stoneham, Woburn and Winchester leaders must discuss the cost before signing the lease. Stoneham's Town Administrator said the path needs to be cleaned up by removing some existing dirt to make it an acceptable as a bike path. .
