The National Weather Service predicts blowing snow before noon and bitter cold temperatures around 13 degrees and a wind chill of -15. The evening will clear up, but the temperatures may get down to as low as -5 with a -19 windchill. Stay warm, folks.
Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick announced Thursday night that the state government will be shut down on Friday as a result of the storm.In addition, Patrick said that private employers are encouraged to keep employees home for the day as well. He also warned residents to prepare for freezing temperatures.
