Library Asks for Community Feedback

Here is some information to get you through Wednesday, June 13.

1. It's going to be a rainy one today with fog to make it even more dreary, according to the National Weather Service. Don't worry though, it appears the sun is going to push back through for a sunny Thursday.

2. You won't be short on book suggestions this summer. Patch has to bring you reading lists for every age. For today, we have a breakdown of reading list for kids of all ages. Make sure to add your suggestions to the lists.

3. The  is asking for your feedback about its services and what changes you would like to see. The library is in the process of developing a new five-year plan of service. Click here to take the online 11-question survey. You have till Friday to complete it.

4. Do you know the difference between medical homecare and non-medical homecare? Good thing Carol Kilduff, director of the Visiting Angels in Chelmsford, will be at the at 1 p.m. to explain non-medical homecare. She will discuss the services, payment options, pricing and how to find the right homecare agency for you.

5. Congratulations to the ’s Communications & Public Affairs Department! The members were honored at the New England Society for Healthcare Communications 2012 Lamplighter Awards ceremony. The hospital received two honors: Silver Award for its special publication – “Our First Century” – written by local historian Ellen Knight, Ph.D. and Award of Excellence for its internal communication efforts around its new “Breathe Free at Winchester Hospital” policy that made the hospital a tobacco-free organization.
