Take Your Dog to Work Today

Here is some information to get you through Friday, June 22.

1. The heat advisory has been lifted with a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms later in the day, but temperatures will still be in the low 90s, according to the National Weather Service. Thunderstorms with gusty winds and heavy rain become more likely as the evening falls and temperatures could drop to 69 degrees. 

2. Today is national Take Your Dog to Work Day. According to a recent survey by the American Pet Products Association, about 2.3 million dogs tag along and wag along to work with 1.4 million dog owners every day. Are you one of the lucky ones who gets to bring your pup with you? If so, make sure to upload a picture of you and your four-legged friend on the official website here in the photo contest. 4. Five students took home honors from the annual Massachusetts Water Resources Authorityʼs poster and writing contest. From first place to honorable mention, the students shined at the contest where the MWRA received more than 1,750 posters and 1,100 writing entries. See .
