The theme of the Gifford Cat Shelter's 5th annual wine tasting & silent auction fundraiser pays homage to classic films at our new theatrical venue by whimsically re-imagining them with our furry feline residents as their Stars. Sample a variety of wines and vegetarian treats, enjoy live entertainment by METRO and bid at a fabulous silent auction featuring Red Sox tickets, week-end getaways, artisan arts and crafts, and gift cards, baskets and items galore! All proceeds will benefit the cats at the Ellen M. Gifford Cat Shelter, the oldest cageless, no-kill shelter in the U.S. Our mission is to provide homeless cats with high-quality care in a safe, homelike environment while we find permanent healthy, loving homes for them, and to educate potential adopters and the public about cat welfare issues.
