The Return of the Follen Angels - Jenks Special Event

Once again, the Follen Angels will bring the American Songbook to the Pond Room of the Jenks Center. Since their last appearance at the Jenks Center, the Angels have added to their group a drummer and a saxophonist, along with the pianist and Hildy Grossman, the vocalist.

The Follen Angels have a wide repertoire, but their program on October 16 will consist of mostly George Gershwin and Cole Porter. Their music has been described as "fresh arrangements of familiar classics." They will bring their current CD's for those who wish to continue listening.

This cabaret performance with be in the Pond Room from 7:30 – 9:30 p.m. In addition to coffee and refreshments, wine and beer will be available. The Follen Angels can also be seen at Scullers on September 28, or may be heard on their website, www.follenangels.com. But - please join your friends in the Pond Room for this special appearance!

Tickets are $15 and may be purchased at the Jenks Center or at Book Ends. Tables for 6 or 8 people may be reserved. Call 781 721-7136.
