Vartan Aghababian presents Masterpiece of Energy and Emotion: Mozart's Piano Concerto No.23 in A

Dr. Vartan Aghababian has delighted his audience at the Jenks Center many times.  We are fortunate to have him return on Thursday, November 17 for a lecture with music by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

Ah, the Piano concerto No. 23 by Mozart--so full of beautiful melodies, exotic keys and brilliant solo and orchestra writing! Popular among pianists and conductors alike, this concerto enthralls all who know it. Come and explore the genius of Mozart as evident in this three-movement concerto through a guided listening experience with composer, conductor and pianist Dr. Vartan Aghababian; you're sure to come away humming the themes and tapping your toes!  All are invited to attend this listening-lecture designed to educate on many fronts: historically, structurally, harmonically.  This lecture is supported by a grant from the John and Mary Murphy Educational Foundation and is free and open to the public. Coffee and cookies available at 10:00 a.m.
