NextDoor Theater Hosting Comedy Night

Professional headlining comedian, Jim Colliton will be appearing with local improv groups "Friends of Gertrude" and "The Dowry" at comedy night on Tuesday, August 10 at 7:30 p.m. 

Included with the tickets is also a free reception. Local comic Matt Donaher hosts all three comedy events for the NextDoor Theater this summer and is enjoying his new venue. 

"The NextDoor Theater is a beautiful theater fostering some astoundingly creative entertainment," Donaher said.  "The community can get a fresh taste of what local improv groups have to offer and I'm proud to be there hosting some of the best comedy from Boston and New York as well."

Adult tickets coast $20, while senior citizens and college students can get in for $14.

The following night, the cast of "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown" takes the stage on Wednesday at 7 p.m.  The musical opened at the NextDoor Theater last year and is back due to the positive reaction of the fans. Equity actor Robert Antonelli appears as "Snoopy,"  KIDSTOCK! choreographer Caylin Campbell appears as "Sally," and actor/educator Harry Hobbs appears as "Linus."

NextDoor Theater wraps up their busy week with the Gospel music group Confirmation performing on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. This evening also includes a free reception. 

Confirmation is a music ministry of contemporary gospel. the group Fuses gospel with pop, jazz, blues, hip-hop, funk and soul.
