Photo Gallery: Winton Club Holiday Fair Kicks Off the Season

The Annual Fair's 'Midnight Madness' on Wednesday evening was a great success and set the tone for the shopping days ahead. The Winton Club donates all proceeds to benefit Winchester Hospital.

The  held its annual Holiday Fair last week in the lobby of 

"The fair kicks off the holiday season," said gift shop chairperson, Anne Spies. "The fair's a lot of fun and it's for a great cause. It's incredible to be able to do something that helps out the hospital."

The Winton Club originally started in 1911, 100 years ago, when a group of 17 women got together and decided to sew linens to help out the hospital.

The majority of proceeds raised at the fair goes to supporting Winchester Hospital. The fair is the first of two fundraisers the club has. The second is a Cabaret show that will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 1. Overall, the club hopes to raise around $90,000 for the hospital.
