Juan Mesa, best known as the owner of The Rodeo Mexican Grill, brings his unique love of cooking and passion for the “art of service” into the kitchen with him every day to create fresh, genuine dishes for your culinary enjoyment.

Juan is a perfect example of the American dream came true, working his way up the restaurant industry ladder through hard work, determination, and the desire to succeed. Though still not formally trained, Juan’s enthusiasm and thirst for knowledge allowed him to move from kitchen to kitchen learning the tricks of the trade. From humble beginnings as a dishwasher in Boston, then educated at Johnson Wells Institute, Juan went on to become executive chef and even general manager of several fine restaurants. After nearly 30 years of experience, he has earned the respect of his colleagues, customers, and employees, becoming an expert in the culinary arts, not only American food but also Italian and Mexican cuisine, just to mention some.
