Which Salem Business Do You Miss Most?

Let us know by posting a comment below.

Despite the birth of a lot of new business in Salem, the town has seen others, like Ritz Camera, Friendly's and Daddy's Junky Music, shuttering in the recent past. This got us thinking: Which Salem business do you miss most?

If you could have one Salem business that has closed in recent years reopen, which one would it be? Let us know by posting a comment in the comments section below.

How about Lechmere Sales. I used to drive up to Salem from Lexington, Ma., to get cases of cassette tapes on sale. You couldn't beat there appliance prices back then.

What was that place back in '70's. It was on 28 right before the Salem Veterinarian. I guess it sat on 28 with the shopping plaza (where the 99 restaurant is) out behind it. It was a pizza and sub shop, had a few pinball machines and just a bunch of odd stuff. We used to ride our bikes from Briar Ave. Anyone remember Landry's Bultaco motorcycles on 28? I rode the bus with the son Henry all throughout school in Londonderry.
