Winchester Single-Family Homes Have Held Their Values

Winchester homes have increased in value better than the rest of the state.

According to a Boston Globe analysis of information by the Warren Group, Winchester's single-family homes have held its value much better than the rest of the state.

Winchester has bucked the Great Recession trend and increased in value since the top of the real estate market in 2005. Only 10 communities state-wide have managed this trick.

That's the analysis from the Boston Globe, which gleaned its information from the Warren Group. (Note that Globe headline says 11 communities, but only ten are presented.)
