5 Things to Know in Winchester: 2013 Town Census, Meetings & More

Here are 5 Things to know for Tuesday, Jan. 8:

1. 2013 Town Census: The town of Winchester mailed out 2013 town census forms on Jan. 3 and all residents must complete and return them by Feb. 15, according to the town website. 

2. Sunny day: Sunny skies and temperatures in the mid-40s are expected during the day Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service's forecast for Winchester. Temperatures will dip to the mid-20s at night, according to the forecast.

3. In case you missed it: See how Winchester's tax rate stacks up against other communities in the region.

4. Meeting time: The Winchester Board of Health is slated to meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the Waterfield Room, according to the town website. Other meetings scheduled for Tuesday night include:

• Winchester Housing Authority, 7 p.m., Westley Street Community Room
• Winchester School Committee, 7 p.m., Lynch Elementary School Library
• Winchester Conservation Commission, 7:30 p.m., Mystic Valley Room
• Winchester Board of Appeal, 7:45 p.m., Winchester Room
