5 Things You Need to Know Today: December 8
Two Sachem squads have tuneups for the winter season.
1. The Winchester High boys' wrestling team will travel to Lynnfield for a 3:30 p.m. scrimmage. The grapplers' season begins at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 11, at New Bedford.
2. The Christmas play for children in kindergarten and first grade will take place at 4 p.m. in Manion Hall.
3. The Winchester High girls' basketball team will take the court at 4:15 p.m. for a scrimmage at Billerica. The Sachems season begins at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 14, at Reading.
